Hi, I’m Pastor Al Jennings and I’m the senior pastor of Summit Church and the CEO of Summit Ministries International. I am primarily responsible for the overall leadership of the Church and for the teaching in our weekend Experiences. My purpose is to teach people how to win in life through the Word of God. I love writing, blogging, podcasting, facebooking, twittering and whatever means necessary to spread the gospel. I minister the Word of God in various Churches across the United States and the world. I provide oversight, counseling and consultation to ministers to help them fulfill the call of God on their life. I love to consult with Pastors on how to lead relevant churches that speak the language of the current culture in which we live.
Carla and I met in college at Ball State University. We reconnected when she was new on campus and needed some help. I was trying to hit on her but she wasn’t really interested in me; she just needed my help and didn’t know anybody else, so she let me help her 🙂 She didn’t stay at Ball State very long, but we reconnected several years later after I graduated from college. After she heard that I received Jesus into my life, we reconnected and started our relationship. We have five wonderful children that we have fun with.
